Once again it's time for me to throw myself on the mercy of
for taking so long with his latest commission; It's been a hell of a week, I can tell you!
So for the second of his two commissions, Jay wanted his other S.S.S couple, Celeste and Blair.
Now considering the last image I did for him: professorfandango.deviantart.c… I felt that this ought to work as a sister image to that one but since this couple are a bit less romantic than Percy and Robin I could make it a little bit funnier.
When asking for themes I was told that Celeste often "rescues" Blair and assuming I got that in the right context (as opposed to 'emotionally' rescuing him I suppose) I wanted to have Celeste carrying Blair as her damsel. Unfortunately every attempt just looked cluttered and obscured too much of both characters. This, plus the fact that Blair is described as courageous and forthright convinced me to make him a little less dependant instead.
So there we have it! Once again I hope it is to your liking kd8lmno and many thanks, once again, for letting me do this for you!
(Incidentally, the title on the previous image was an English joke that I forgot to change so I had to follow suit with this one. Anybody get 'em?)
