GRILL
NEUTRAL -Star Block- A heavy projectile which bounces once before disappearing.
SIDE -Frying Pan Flip- Her name is Grill, she is apparently an onion and she supposedly uses frying puns so that was a theme I could run with. A forward slide with the pan held out in front of her. If it connects with an enemy they can than be flipped backwards over her head.
UP -Magic Broom- An innocuous recovery, Grill simply gets a limited amount of fully controllable flight.
DOWN -Onion Pluck- Grill will pull an onion minion out of the ground and automatically toss it. There are three different lackeys: Salt, Pepper and Sugar and they all have slightly different properties.
FINAL -COOK- Imagine my disappointment to find that Kirby's Final Smash had been changed from Cook - something quintessentially Kirby - to another bloody sword. So I brought it back for Grill.

Why GRILL?
This one is certainly the flightiest and most fanciful of my newcomers and is simply a response to my own suggestion of Gooey. Grill is the most enigmatic character in the Kirby series. She shows up out of nowhere for who knows what reason as a secret final boss in Kirby's Sparkling Kirakira Star Kids Game Deluxe and then disappears forever. So showing up in the Smash series the same way would at least be consistent.
But she does fill the role well: A character with some kind of significance beyond a normal enemy, a full set of limbs for punching and kicking and a design which is simple but just complicated enough to be both appealing and suitable for the Kibry franchise. She's also non-human which puts her one up against Adeleine, I guess.

What are her chances?
She has none. Sakurai didn't work on the game she appeared in and probably doesn't know who she is. Around the Gamecube/Wii era there was a huge drought of Kirby games, then when he made his comeback a lot of brand new characters and bosses were introduced. That was great except for the fact that none of them stuck around for longer than one game so nobody really got to be the Rosalina of the Kirby games. I'd like to recommend they bring the onion witch back because she would offer a nice dynamic against the three Dreamlanders we already know and love. But she's not getting in Smash.
