I haven't been around these parts for a while and now that I'm back my first port of call is to try to extort money out of anybody reading this!?
It probably makes me sound like a penny pinching bastard and that would be correct.
The reason I haven't been up to much here is because I now have a day job! Sadly I discovered today that it doesn't even cover my rent, let alone my bills so I'm forced to take advantage of any money making avenue at my disposal.
Thankfully my greasy materialism will have no ill effect on the quality of my work and that can only be of benefit to you!
Now I've always had a fierce loathing of the "starving artist" angle but I felt it was necessary to explain my situation to at least justify it to myself and so you (hopefully!) don't think I'm some kind of massive sellout (because that's only half true.)
As always:
Single character sketch - $10
Single character inks - $15
Single character coloured - $20
Mo' characters - Mo' money
Extras and complexities are negotiable!

SCREWLOOSE STUDIOS IS LIVE!
Screwloose Studios is now LIVE! More than just a portfolio site, this is a sort of "home base" for all of my creative work and I hope you'll take a look around. The reason I've been so light on updates recently is because I've been working to get this thing into a serviceable state. It's not perfect, but since I'm paying for the privilege I ought to at least have something up, right? But why visit a website just to see stuff I've already posted elsewhere? BECAUSE, for the time being Screwloose Studios is the only place you can find CATCHER MALL, the never-ending monster project I've been working on for the best part of three years! I'll probably end up adding these designs to my other galleries eventually, but I wanted to launch them all in a big reveal so that you could really get a feel for what the project is! Finally, I am by no means a web designer so some parts are uglier than others, but I intend to keep updating it further and if you stumble across a spelling mistake or
NINTENDO COLLECTION SUGGESTION PAGE
I still have a fair few names on my list for the Nintendo Collection, though I'm not quite sure how to prioritise them now.
I get a lot of suggestions but some are in notes, some are in gallery comments, some are in comments on individual pieces; It's tough to keep track.
That's why I'm making a journal entry in hopes to collate them all in a repository that I can refer to easily.
There's no guarantee I'll draw every character that gets suggested and a lot of them are probably already on my list but I wanted to see what remaining characters are popular and if there's anybody I might have misses.

Wow, hard to believe it's been nearly a year since I did a journal entry!
I know most folks don't read these but those that do, here's what coming up from me:
1: MASCOT - Still working on Mascot, only a handful of characters left but I've got one or two larger pieces to go with them (remember that "Unfinished poster"? That's well on its way to completion.)
2: ENCYCLOTRIVIA - I've got a few Fandango robots that have been half-finished for a while so I hope to get to those soon and sign them off.
3: DARK CHARACTERS - A while back I mentioned that I wanted to investigate Nintendo's "dark characters" and why I don't like them. I've got a few
Leaks and Spoilers and Hoaxes, oh my!
Hello folks.
I understand there's been a Smash Bros "leak" recently and while I don't really know exactly what it is, I couldn't help but stumble upon a couple of details. Of course, there's no way to know what details are true, what details are false or if the whole thing's a hoax.
All I would like to do though is request that you don't bring this information to me.
It's not that I've got anything against knowing what's in the game, necessarily, it's just that I respect the developers enough to wish for them to be able to present the game in the way they want to, rather than forcing it to happen another way.
